Exceptional Customer Service at Dunfallandy Houes

Jack and Iris were exceptional hosts, clearly passionate about their lovely hotel which has been so tastefully renovated with many original features but very modern with regards to things like sockets in the rooms with USB connections. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble, with many added touches such as fresh milk and soft drinks in the room fridge, and lovely homemade tablet by Iris. The rooms were very clean, spacious and the beds really comfortable. The choice for breakfast was amazing, all fresh cooked to order and tasted delicious. I highly recommend the homemade pancakes! The hotel is a 5-minute drive from Pitlochry or a 20-minute walk (10-minute walk to the Theatre). We stayed for the weekend of the Heartland Festival and Jack kindly transported us in with our gear both days. There is a lovely covered outside seating area and a well-stocked bar for evening drinks. Hugs as we left said it all, can't wait to return!

Excellent stay and wonderful hosts

We had an excellent stay, what a gorgeous place. Jack and Iris were fantastic hosts and had an excellent whisky collection in a lovely bar set up through the back. The breakfast was top notch and had plenty of extras (homemade brownies!), served in a very nice cosy dining room. The room was great, we had enough space for three of us and the beds were extremely comfortable. Great value for money as they were able to accommodate three friends in one room with three separate, proper beds. Location is excellent just a short, scenic walk into town. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the outside patio too!

Wonderful hosts, exceptional experience

I stayed here with a group of adult study abroad students from the U.S. and we had a lovely experience! The owners/hosts were so welcoming and friendly to the whole group. The rooms were clean and cute with all the amenities you could need. The house is tucked away with sheep pastures behind it so it's a perfect cozy, quiet atmosphere, but it's also close to town so very convenient. Breakfast was delicious. The best part though is the curated whisky lounge! Beyond being the coolest place to relax at the end of the day, the whisky collection is unique and extensive and served by the knowledgeable owners :) Truly had an exceptional, one of a kind experience here!!

Superb small hotel.

Almost certainly the best hotel we’ve stayed in. It feels more like staying with friends as Jack and Iris are so welcoming and chatty. Lovely interior decor, delicious range of cooked food for breakfast and very tasty cooked bar snacks in the evening. Clean and comfortable rooms. In a peaceful location but a relatively short walk into town (fifteen minutes approximately). If we return to Pitlochry we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Five star stay!

Our group booked several rooms for a night, and the only negative thing we could say is that we couldn't stay longer. Jack and Iris were amazing, welcoming hosts. Breakfast was delicious and there were accommodations for various dietary needs, which we were so appreciative of. The vibes of the hotel were unique and interesting. Rooms were clean and modern. I highly recommend staying here.
