Loved the accommodations. Had air conditioning, a live saver during heat wave! Ambience was warm and inviting. Restaurant had excellent Italian food. Would definitely recommend and also stay here again!

Our welcome was lovely. Very friendly. The room was small but very nicely presented.
We booked dinner in the restaurant and all went downhill from there. My starter of scallops was extremely small, greasy and unappetising. Not worth the money. My main however was diabolical. Chicken was tough and I could not eat the vegetables. A congealed mess. When my husband complained, the manager was argumentative and totally unsympathetic. So unprofessional. He eventually did not charge for my main course but with very bad grace. To be fair my husband enjoyed his meal.
After that debacle, which ruined our evening, the air conditioning in our bedroom packed in so we had a very uncomfortable night and slept badly.
Would I stay there again or recommend it? No chance.
Any feedback? Yes! The manager should follow the example of his staff who were charming and very apologetic.

Restaurant is very good

Lovely hotel with exceptional restaurant. A couple of items to consider, no elevator/lift if you have cases etc. All bedrooms accessible only by stairs. Limited parking in alley way behind hotel. Had to wait for someone to leave so we could park, only 6 spaces, then have to walk around to the front to enter hotel.

Lovely rooms

Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean with a first class breakfast. Situated right on the quayside and easy walking distance around what the Luftwaffe missed of the old town. Parking on site, but check ahead for exact directions as, once you miss it, there's a jolly jaunt round the one way system!

The most amazing Sunday roast!

We have visited Ennios previously for Valentines and birthday meals - decided to try the Sunday roast yesterday with some friends, for a joint anniversary and birthday treat. Absolutely did not disappoint - all the meats were cooked perfectly, vegetables were spot on - lovely crispy roast potatoes and the cauliflower cheese was amazing. The prices are reasonable too considering the amount of food you get, and the quality of it. My partner is a very fussy roast dinner critic and he couldn't fault a single thing.
The service was excellent as always - attentive and polite.
We absolutely love Ennios, cannot recommend it enough.
