Best 5 Star in Hanoi and one of the best in the world
If I can give 7 stars. I will. I have been to many top 5 stars hotel in the world and Capella Hanoi provided unprecedented service, room, facilities, amenities, and food. All the staff were extremely professional and friendly. The location is excellent in French Quarter, value for its level of luxury, and really tidy and clean.
The art of unhurried luxury. ️✨Finding sanctuary inside Hanoi’s French Quarter, where historic opera house glamour meets absolute stillness. Checking into the Premier Suite at Capella Hanoi (Michelin 3 keys) feels less like a hotel stay and more like inheriting a private residence from a bygone era. The layout is beautifully mastered—a grand, expansive living room completely separated from the bedroom, allowing for true relaxation.
From the moment of arrival, the personalized butler service removes all friction from travel, quietly anticipating every need before a word is even spoken.
The indulgence here is subtle but generous. The in-room bar is completely complimentary, alongside freshly prepared cakes and seasonal fruits that await your return.

Pure magic
We stayed here two nights and had a marvelous stay. We originally booked at the Sofitel across the street but decided to splurge at this newer property and that was a great decision!
The hotel reminds me of a luxurious city townhouse. Indeed, there are only 40+ rooms. It’s decorated lavishly in colonial colorful splendor.
We were upgraded to a bedroom suite because it was my birthday. While the rooms are on the small side (typical of Hanoi), it was jampacked with detail and luxury. Crisp cool beddings, drinks bar, in room Vietnamese coffees, Bamford toiletries, little doodads to put your glasses on, the cutest eyeglass wipes… no detail was too small. When you left the hotel the doorman would offer us a bottle of Acqua Panna - lovely! Though sometimes I wish it was cold!
Buffet breakfast was irresistible with a great array of Asian and Western specialities. It also came with à la carte orders which should not be missed. We enjoyed our breakfasts very much!
And cocktail hour is not to be missed. We enjoyed the Deux Champagne served freely along with the complimentary nibbles. We were served by a wonderful gentleman whose babe was Nhien (my spelling could be way off) who graciously answered our questions and always asked how our day was going.
My husband also I had a massage which he said was outstanding
