Would recommend

Lovely kind welcoming staff
Great cleaners
Spacious rooms
My partner said the most comfy bed ever
Tv had English Channels which is a plus!
Breakfast nice and very varied
Bathroom has a really cool window which fogs (we were amazed)
In the middle of the hustle and bustle of old quarter
An amazing escape from the chaotic streets, we couldn't hear any beeping or any outside noise which was amazing!
Swimming pool was too dirty to get in, originally was why we booked it and therefore initially a shame. Very new hotel so bar is empty. HOWEVER still so thankful for our stay here and would definitely recommend just be aware the swimming pool is dirty

Great inexpensive boutique hotel.

I was a little worried after I booked this hotel when i read some reviews but after checking in all those worries left me. We were welcomed by a very friendly young lady and friendly doorman. Hotel lobby is beautiful and room is very modern and clean. Appreciated the small cake and decorated bed for celebrating our wedding anniversary. Room has a smart tv so you can watch youtube and netflix. We had a larger room as we booked a Premier double room with view. I think our neighbour may have had a smaller room, something to keep in mind. Breakfast was yummy with lots of options, you can also have pho and eggs made to order. Upstairs bar and swimming pool is quite nice but on the small size. Pool temperature is quite cold. Nice to go up there for the view. We found all staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially the lady that greeted us on the first night (I wish I could remember her name). She gave us a good recommendation for dinner on our first night and showed us where on google maps. Manevi is situated on quieter street and just a short walk to streets with a lot of action. You can easily walk to the beer street from the hotel, which is like a street on steroids.
Only thing I would suggest to the hotel is there needs to more clear signage of emergency exits etc on each floor, something I noticed they lacked.
I would certainly consider staying here again of I was visiting Hanoi again.

Extremely small room WITH NO WINDOW

Location of the hotel was good, situated in The Old Quarter around plenty of bars and restaurants. We booked a superior double. It DID NOT HAVE A WINDOW to the room. It was extremely small. We had two suitcases and had to store one in the wardrobe and the other under the shelf below the tv which made it very difficult when getting clothes out. There is no storage for clothes and very little room around the bed. Because of the size of the room I knocked over a cup which broke and I was charged £6 GBP for a replacement!
One day we had a cockroach in the bathroom even though the room seemed clean. The room had a separate toilet and separate shower area which was modern. The breakfast was ok comprising of the usual egg selection, fruits, tea, coffee etc.

We travelled to Hanoi for the first time ever to Vietnam from our home in Canada. We were both amazed by the quality of both the service and the room. Our Canadian hotels can’t even compare! The staff were always greeting us warmly and our room was remade every day and our breakfast was amazing and had a lot to choose from. The fresh fruit and coffee were delicious! The hotel was located on a smaller and quieter street but still right in the middle of all the Old Quarter locations. Everything was walkable. Both my daughter and myself never felt unsafe.

Whilst the room was clean, the hotel had a funny smell to it. Our room had an internal window which looked out to a wall. When I asked about upgrading to a room with a window. I was shown a room which overlooked a dark dirty alley. This room smelt too!
The staff were polite and professional but I would not class this as a 5 star hotel. The area also was like “Benidorm on crack” during the weekends which was a shock when we arrived. 3 minutes after leaving our hotel my partner was offered weed, and after 7 minutes was offered coke and a woman! There is actually a weed bar across the road from the hotel too…
Airport shuttle was fine leaving but on arrival due to the traffic the driver parked us 5 minutes away and we had to walk through the streets with our luggage.
WiFi was good
