Our host was very helpful and the cold lemonade when we arrived was one of the highlights of our trip. The room was comfortable and only a 25-30 mins walk to the old town.

Would not stay here again

This is more of a hostel vibe vs. a hotel or airbnb. You really have to look at the photo's to understand the location. The bedroom's are right next to each other and they share a hallway. You hear *Everything* that your neighbor does, and you won't possibly sleep through the opening and closing of the doors. The doors are heavy and have vents that are permanently open on the bottom of the door. So if someone is playing music, talking, showering, you can hear it all. If you are a young person traveling and you don't care about sleep, this may work well for you. The kitchen is also shared, so you have to hope that the person is clean that is sharing the space with you. I would not stay here again. Tourist trap, unfortunately. When sharing our concern with the owner, they could have cared less, also not good hospitality.

Fantastic stay

We have just completed a two night stay at Kuna; and I have to say it was fantastic. The location was out of the way of the VERY busy old town (15 minutes walk) which was nice to escape the crowds.
But what made our stay was the owner. She is so kind, and was attentive to our every need. Free lemonade on a arrival, she gave us a free lift when we left onto the port. It was my partners birthday and she gave her a bottle of home made sherry.
Thankyou so much and if you come to Dubrovnik give this place a try, you really won’t regret it..

Peaceful, Out of the Way Jewel

Guest House Kuna consists of two small studio/apartments. Both are of adequate size for a couple with a main bedroom and shower room, toilet facility. There is a small shared kitchenette which is fully functional. Outside is a good sized balcony/patio.
The guest house is a twenty minute walk from the old town and is very private, don't be put off by sharing the kitchenette and balcony, we stayed ten days and only spent one evening with our neighbours the rest of the time we were just doing our own thing.
Neena was our hostess and what a fantastic hostess she is, my wife and I arrived to freshly made lemon juice and delicious cake. Throughout our stay she popped up with little surprises, homemade wine, sherry and pancakes to name a few. She was very helpful with advising us where to go and how to get there, she liked to chat and was very cheery and often very funny.
She is a hard working lady but nothing is too much for her, I really enjoyed my stay in no small part due to Neena's disposition. I would recommend a stay here if you truly want to relax and stay in first class accommodation.

Buen lugar, tranquiidad y amabilidad

Está situado en la mitad de una calle peatonal entre dos calles a distinto nivel (25m), en el que hay muchas casas con jardín. Eso ya da una idea de la tranquilidad que se respira.
Dispones de una habitación con cama de matrimonio y un cuarto de baño completo. La cama muy cómoda y dispones de Aire Acondicionado y WIFI.
La propietaria (Nena), me ofreció al llegar una jarra de agua fresca y pastel de manzana, con el calor que hacía y después de bajar todo el equipaje de la moto vestido de romano por las escaleras, el agua se agradece y mucho.
Me recomendó un buen restaurante en la zona del Monte SRD y que no defraudó.
A la entrada de las habitaciones dispone de un pequeño cubierto con sillas y mesas donde poder estar a gusto por la noche cuando baja un poco el calor.
Sin duda un muy buen sitio.
