Great stay at Rooms Megi! Loved having the top floor for our family and the apartment was clean and quiet.

This was a great spot for those looking to stay inside the walls but in a quiet location. It was also a find to have a place that fit our whole family (2 adults, 2 kids), and allowed us the privacy of our own floor. Megi was easy to get in touch with and helped us with setting up a taxi to the airport complete with a driver that came to the apartment to help carry the bags. The apartment was very clean and the AC worked well too.

Great place to stay in Dubrovnik!

We are a young couple who wanted a central place to stay in Dubrovnik, and this had a perfect location in the Old Town. The hosts were lovely and helpful and the room was very nice and clean, the bed was soft, and the private bathroom we had was great, it seemed recently renovated. We had a great stay and will recommend this place and hosts to everyone we know.

Cute room in great location

Run by a lovely couple, this old house that has been turned into a hotel is lovely. Shared bathrooms that are really clean and rooms are so comfy with a beautiful window that opens out to a lovely outlook of bougainvillea. The only downfall which is pretty much the problem everywhere in Dubrovnik are the stairs. Lots of stairs to get to this hotel, but as long as you have suitable luggage, you’ll be fine :)

Great place and great host

We went to rooms megi because it was one of the cheapest places we found in Dubrovnik. A bed in a share room in some hostels can cost around 30€, however at Megi's we have a double room with a private bathroom (and air conditioning!!) in the heart of Dubrovnik's old town for 35€ each. Furthermore Megi is the nicest host, her English is quite limited (she can speak German though) but it was no problem at all to comunicate with her. She gave us a map of the city and explained how to get to the main attractions. She also let us leave our luggage there after the check-out while we were enjoying our last hours in the beach, and when we came back in the afternoon she let us use her toilet to change our clothes.
Another good point is that outside the room's window there wer some ropes to hang out the wet clothes, which can be very handy after a day swimming in the ocean.
Needless to say the place was clean and nice.
The only warning I would give is that it is at the end of a street full of stairs, so it may be a problem for disabled people or people with limited mobility.

Excelente. Ojo con el camino por escalera.

La Sra. María nos recibió de forma excelente. Nos explicó como pudo con toda su mejor buena onda y voluntad cómo hacer para llegar más fácil para evitar algunas escaleras.
Compartimos entre 4 personas el altillo... consta de 2 habitaciones, living y baño para compartir. Las habitaciones ambas con frigobar y aire acondicionado que andaban de 10! El baño y el living cómodos y grandes.. Agua caliente muy bien en el baño.
De las habitaciones una vista de ensueño del atardecer en el mar y la muralla de Dubrovnik.
Ubicación: en líneas generales es muy buena.. está en el centro del casco histórico de La ciudad amurallada. Ahora, tener en cuenta que la ciudad es un mar de escalones, es la muralla en sí misma. Las calles son escaleras y escaleras... Este hospedaje está en una calle de pleno centro, y a unas pocas cuadras de la calle principal... Pero en toda la ciudad amurallada NO entran vehículos (autos, combis, etc). Y la calle Antuninska sube hacia esa numeración.. cuando digo que sube: SUBE LITERALMENTE EN muchos escalones bien empinados.
No es un lugar para llevar mucho equipaje si vas a hospedarte en la ciudad amurallada. Realmente hay que sortear muchos muchos escalones.. las calles son escaleras empinadas en su mayoría. Chequeen esto antes de hospedarse, en cuanto a la movilidad que tengan los huespedes. Y la fuerza para subir con las valijas o equipaje que tengan.
A nosotros particularmente nos encantó este hospedaje y su ubicación, pero si tienen movilidad reducida o poco estado físico puede ser algo complicado.
Hay una manera de subir sin tanto escalón, que es a más distancia pero camino más liso.
Volvería siempre a este lugar mágico y a este hospedaje... María es una señora encantadora! Nos atendió muy bien y el hospedaje es de muy buena relación precio-calidad.
