Excellent
A little inaccessible since you need to climb up many sets of stairs without a ramp or elevator but the location is excellent, very close to Pile Gate. Ivana was an excellent host who accommodated our requests for an extension after we found out we made a mistake in booking, and arranged airport transport for us with a very kind driver.

Very convenient location just outside of old town 5 minute walk to Pile Gate. Lots of restaurants and shops within a very easy walk. Room was clean and safe and the Star Wars theme was a hit with my boyfriend. There is no front desk on site & you have to text your passport info which is a little strange. View out of the window was a lovely rooftop view with distant water view that was beautiful. Only negatives were that the rooms are not soundproofed so unfortunately we were woken up 2 nights in a row to the sound of our neighbor getting sick. Also, we were in room 6 and the bed was extremely hard, there was a spring that was popping up on the far side of the bed that made sleep difficult and there was only 1 very flat pillow per person.

A peaceful stay in Dubrovnik
A very nice place to stay. There are a lot of steps to reach it from the Pile Gate area. A good base for walking into the old town. Very quiet area with small linking streets mostly well lit. Room was modern and clean with a king size bed.A lovely view of the sea. A bakery and sandwich shop at the bottom of the hill. Fridge in room.Coffee making facilities in the hall. Maybe some sachets of powdered milk would be good.

DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE STRANDED IN DUBROVNIK AT NIGHT

I booked this place via American Airlines. Found out after. The fact that it was less of a hotel and more like an AirBnB with self checkin. I was fine with this. In the days leading up to, and certainly the day of my arrival, I expected to receive info on how to self checkin. Nothing. I reach out out to American and they said they would try to help, and that it might take 24 hours to remedy. This wasn’t going to work as I was landing in Dibrovnik in 2 hours. Long story short - ended up stranded in Dubrovnik, at 10PM in the dark unable to get I to the property, and had to book another accommodation at a much higher rate, not to mention extra Uber fees etc.
Will be demanding a refund as well as restoration of my points, at a minimum.

Great Location and Room
We stayed here for 2 nights in early June. It was easy to find.
Our room was small but that’s to be expected. The bathroom was nice and the bed was comfortable. Plus, we had a view of the water and Lovrijenac Fortress.
If you need it, there’s an “instant pot” located in the hallway. We texted the host who quickly responded with instructions on where to find it.
It’s located a 2-3 minute walk from the Pile Gate entrance into the walled city. There are a lot of really good restaurants in the area.
We would stay here again.
