Fabulous property; location not great.

This hotel offers fabulous accommodations, amenities, staff and restaurant. We particularly enjoyed the spa and the executive lounge.
However, the hotel is a 20 to 25 minute walk to Old Town. We found this location wasn't a good one for us. There is a nice park by the hotel, but the rest of the area is occupied by business offices and commercial spaces. Our first night, we walked around for about 30 minutes trying to find a restaurant near the hotel. We finally gave up and ate in a restaurant in a nearby shopping centre food court.
When we asked thw Old Town Tourist Information Centre for advice on restaurants and attractions near Tallinn Park, they couldn't come up with anything, except The Able Butcher in our hotel.
It was a nuisance to have to keep coming back to the hotel to change for dinner in the Old Town and to have to carry a backpack with items we would normally just zip back to the hotel through the day to get.
I have some difficulty walking long distances, so we ended up spending a snall fortune on Bolt rides during our 5 day stay. While this is a lovely hotel, we wish we had stayed closer to Old Town instead.

I absolutely recommend this hotel and the spa

I absolutely recommend the spa and the massages with Yulia, who is truly a great professional and exceptional. I make an appointment with her every time I pass through Tallinn.

It could be better

I stayed here for 10 nights. Hotel located in downtown Tallinn. Convenient location closed to everything. Hotel facilities are good but staff. I don’t really know how is your standard of the phone ringing but most of the time when I called reception there was nobody answering. I once requested a cleaning service for the room, I went out for over an hour but when I came back to my room it wasn’t clean yet. Bad experience with checkout service. I tried to make 2 payments on cash and the rest on credit card, the reception sighed in front of me before proceeding. Food was OK, they cannot serve icecream in the room. The life service was so slow!!!

Staff completeley useless, no communication and terrible manners.
Nice hotel.
Rooma are big and clean.
Casino on the ground floor.

Ok hotel, appalling service

The hotel is ok. The staff is, in all honesty, cold at the best.
After making the booking I got an email from concierge asking if they could help with anything. With them I booked the large sauna suite.
I replied almost immediately saying we would be celebrating a birthday so organising flowers and cake (at a cost obviously) would be great.
This was 4 days before arrival. No reply, nothing at all.
During the stay I asked again and they managed to send a piece of cake and a bottle of prosecco for which I paid obviously. Flower I had to arrange myself.
On checkout day I asked for 30minutes-1 hour late checkout, they coldly replied “we are full today, you need to leave at 12 the latest”… the latest??
So I asked isn’t checkout time at 12? They confirmed it was, so 12 wasn’t ’a favour’
Everyone in Estonia speaks perfect English so this definitely was not a language barrier, they simply don’t seem prone to provide a good service
I am a Hilton gold member but this made zero difference
