Delightful and Posh
I had a delightful stay at GHK Riga. Before my arrival Viktorija reached out to check on my needs. The hotel is perfectly located, right across the opera and park and about eight minutes from the Bus station (highly recommend Lux Bus if coming from Estonia or Lithuania). I loved the historical air of the building and the polished renovations in the interior. Extra spacious and modern, I was very comfortable in my corner room. I arrived on an ultra rainy day which was a bit challenging for outdoor sightseeing. However, GHK spa and their team kept my spirits uplifted. A growing Asian diaspora is renewing the looks of Riga which I also found extra inspiring and refreshing. The morning buffet breakfast is one of the best I have had in my travels- do not miss it! Jugendstil art is dominant and can even be appreciated from the rooms. I do recommend wearing comfortable high impact shoes for the thick bricks in the historical area. The reknowned Alberta Iela is about 20 minutes from the hotel, and there are also very interesting places of prayer (highly recommend the Mary Magdalene church, 10 minutes from the hotel and the Orthodox Cathedral, about 15 minutes by foot). Kudos on the sauna- a super relaxing option for a rainy afternoon in Riga. Thanks to each one of you who made my stay special and left me with a desire to come back for more.

Great location, full gym!
Lovely hotel! The location is perfect for walking the city, the rooms were clean, spacious, and gorgeous. The pool and spa area were the best out of all 7 of the hotels we stayed at on our trip, and the gym was phenomenal! You will be able to get a full workout during your stay, which was so nice. They even have water bottles and chilled towels in the gym area! We did the Razoul clay spa treatment and it was a wonderful experience and value.

Wonderful Stay at Kempinski Riga – Highly Recommended!
We had a fantastic stay at the Kempinski Riga, where we felt truly happy and exceptionally well taken care of from the very beginning. The communication with the concierge before our arrival was impeccable — they recommended and booked all the restaurants we wanted.
Check-in was very fast, and we were amazed by the size of the rooms when we arrived. We had one Deluxe Suite, one Deluxe Room, and one Superior Room. All of them were very spacious and beautifully decorated. Choosing the Deluxe Suite was a great decision, as it became the perfect gathering place for the whole family.
Our travel agent had mentioned that this was a family trip to celebrate my 60th birthday, and the hotel surprised us with a beautiful welcome: a cake, sweets, fresh fruit, and champagne. It was a very thoughtful gesture.
One detail that pleasantly surprised me was finding a Dyson hairdryer in the room — such a nice touch!
The breakfast was excellent, the housekeeping team was invisible but always kept the rooms spotless and tidy, and they performed the turndown service punctually every evening.
The hotel has a privileged location right in front of the Opera House and a beautiful park, in the heart of the Old Town.
Staying at the Kempinski Riga was truly a pleasure. I recommend it without hesitation — we will definitely return to enjoy this beautiful city again.
It’s worth paying the extra for an Opera View!

Fabulous hotel. Worth the price.
This hotel was exceptional in every way. The room was large and beautifully decorated. The location is perfect, right across from the main park and the Opera House. Our park view was so relaxing. Every staff member that we encountered was completely helpful and friendly.
