One Day in Badapest July 2026

“+” Located 5 min. from the South Railway Station in Budva - convenient before a trip to Balaton. Early check-in, spacious modern room, chic view from the window to Fortress Hill, comfortable bed, good bathroom, excellent variety of breakfast buffet. There's a cooler on the floor.
“-” No refrigerator, soap and shampoo from dispenser, no hand towel.
Generally liked the hotel, but not very suitable for exploring the city

Terrible

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Room was okay but the staff let this place down BIG TIME. All the staff were rude. I have never seen the likes of it.

Needs attention

The first few floors of this hotel are Ibis and the upper floor’s Mercure. Not sure in difference of quality but the Ibus is definitely in need of some maintenance. The air conditioning is poor at best and the room was in poor condition with dirty carpets and many niggling little faults. The room was cleaned daily and fresh towels left. Didn’t use restaurant in the evening but breakfast was buffet style with a very good and varied range of food.

Excellent location, close to metro, supermarkets, tram, buses

Everything was fantastic! The location was excellent, and the air conditioning worked well. However, the biggest gripe was that there was only one chair in a room for two -a couple. How was the other person supposed to sit? The side tables were so tiny and curved that things kept falling off. We took off stars for that because it really bothered us.
Rest everything was faultless. The loo in the reception was excellent, and we used it after we checked out and went around to collect our bags, which were stored for us. It was a nice idea of a carafe for water that could be refilled. We didn’t ask for room cleaning because we were only there for three days and didn’t want anyone entering. The bathroom was fine, but I would have preferred the glass separation to be a bit wider because water was falling on the main bathroom floor in front of the sink.
Overall, it was a great stay.

Guests with children or pets, better go literally anywhere else. Medication lying around on room floor.

Our dog found a pill on the floor and ingested it. We were able to extract it from her. This pill did not belong to us. If it had been ingested, she could have been seriously harmed.
So therefore, dog owners and families with small children: CHECK the floors, apparently cleaning is insufficient at best and endangers your beloved.
Toilet was not working (did not stop flushing, cover was not attached). Despite us mentioning this after check-in, no action was taken. After again coming to the reception, someone attached the cover and left, leaving the toilet still non-functional.
After all this, it was worth a two drinks coupon, and, after arguing with booking.com, a 10.76€ voucher. Needless to say we'll be seeking further action.
