Absolutely perfect for us
We stayed here for a short visit to Amsterdam as we love animals.
We stayed in the caravan and it was so lovely. Everything we could want was available to us already supplied including some food and drinks, a very comfortable bed, towels etc.
We got a taxi from the train station when we arrived and another to Noord to get the free ferry across to the main city which was nice and easy and the taxis were available when we needed them. Going somewhere more locally we hired bikes from the B&B owners (my husband hadn’t cycled since childhood) and it was easy and safe with dedicated cycle tracks so that’s the way to do it!
The donkeys outside our window (at a safe distance) was definitely a bonus, as well as cows and calves, goats and chickens. Even got a glimpse of a Rottweiler once!
Although we came here for Amsterdam, I could happily have been here for much longer, cycling around the smaller towns further north. It’s so beautiful.
We do hope to visit again!

Excellent rental in the countryside
Located less than 8km from Amsterdam at Wilco and Karen you will find a little corner of paradise with a warm welcome and very clean, comfortable accommodation with a very nice little attention, every morning we could graciously go and collect our eggs from the henhouse. The farm is like very clean accommodation without odors. Perfect value for money. Nothing to add except that you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful place in a wonderful location
Absolutely wonderful place within easy cycle of central Amsterdam, but far enough out to feel very chilled and rural. There are goats, donkeys and chickens (where you can get free eggs for breakfast) and the hosts are really lovely and helpful. The room was really big and clean, and actually a really nice view from the skylights.
10/10, will definitely be back next time I'm in the Netherlands.

Peaceful stay, impeccably clean
Stayed her for 2 nights in August 2023 to use as a base for a city break of Amsterdam. Didn't want to stay in the centre as we had our car and bikes on the roof-this place was ideal for us
Only 2 miles out so we were able to cycle in each day (with a 5 year old and 9 year old to give an idea of the level of the cycle journey)
Place was impeccably clean. Breakfast provided in the fridge which was filled up as we used it during our stay. Very friendly hosts, gorgeous location which is in part still a working farm with various animals (added bonus is fresh eggs each morning)
Would stay again and would recommend

Just WOW. We love it there!!!
If we could, we would definitely give the B&B more than 5 points.
This B&B is definitely a secret escape, and for us absolutely extraordinary and breathtaking.
The hosts Wilco and Karen are absolutely lovely people who run the B&B with so much love.
The location is absolutely breathtaking, actually in the middle of the big city of Amsterdam and yet still in the countryside.
You go out onto the terrace and look out into the rural idyll, and you are greeted by the two goats who are enjoying their life in their stable in front of the terraces. No idea what they are called, we named them Lolek and Bolek :)
The two donkeys are also really adorable and always like to be petted.
The highlight is that you can get the freshly laid eggs from the chickens in their stable for breakfast in the morning.
The rooms are absolutely amazing and so lovingly and modernly furnished.
It is really brilliant to get into the city of Amsterdam. Drive 10 minutes by car to the NDSM car park. Pay a parking fee of 1.60 euros per hour and take the free shuttle ferries directly at the Central Station and you are in the city. The parking fee directly in the city is 8 euros per hour.
We could write more...but you have to experience it for yourself!
