Lovely holiday

We have been to this hotel often throughout the years always returning due to the quiet surroundings, easy walk to the Harbour/Town/Cliffs.
Although the bed was some what high (my height 5’ 2”) i do wonder how some people manage to ‘jump on’ especially those with disabilities. The evening meal was varied. One could not fault the breakfast with its abundant choice.
All staff were helpful and polite with one gentleman Vincent (Restaurant Omelette Chef) an exceptional asset to the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble as he tried to cook 6 omelettes at once in order that guests should not wait too long. Vincent cooked each one with art and perfection, always smiling with impeccable manners and grace.
Vincent actually made everyone feel they mattered as individuals.

Business Stop Hotel

In mid way to a working meating we need a clean place with confort, good room, a confortable bed and nice pillows! all that we found at Dom João Hotel. We arrive near midnight and at reception we had a very professional gentleman waiting for us. Web service in the room was nice and fast. Hotel was very calm and silente.
Breakfast was good and some fruit was included.
Good hotel in Portugal center.

Very Quaint and Nice Hotel

This hotel is out of the way but the rooms although small, are very nice. The hotel feels like its just a couple of years old, very well maintained. Hotel staff are very nice and accommodating. Breakfast buffet is sumptuous :-) Stayed here because the hotels across Fatima was fully booked. The surrounding area are all local homes - really located far from business area. You wouldn't even think there's going to be a hotel in the area. Thought we were lost. downside, no restaurants nearby.

Lovely stay

this was a very good hotel, of course it is a bit far from the bid portuguese cities however rooms are perfect from the design to cleanliness to comfortability and wifi. breakfast was a bit disappointing tho but overall great experience.

Small friendly hotel in quiet area

On long trip by road, needed hotel in small area just off the route. This hotel was perfect. Young lady on reception (Rosa?) was very friendly and welcoming and had good English. Room was a good size with a balcony and was spotlessly clean and well decorated. Unfortunately we arrived on a Sunday evening and there were no restaurants in the area for an evening meal. Rosa gave us directions to restaurants which involved a trip back down the motorway. if arriving on a Sunday, would recommend stopping on route rather than waiting until after arrival.
