Staff were polite, helpful and friendly. The hotel is near the city centre with good bus and tram links nearby. The room was very spacious, and clean with great facilities. Highly recommended.

Pleasant enough, smelt of tabaco smoke in hall ways. Not much offering of restauarnt etc. Internal restaurant was shut over wk end. Clean and effiecient if just using as a base

lovely apartments with outdoor pool seasonal sauna, jacuzzi and restaurants rooms large everything you need in them for a short break or long stay if for business deffo stay there again staff in restuarant very helpful and sociable

Terrible personal

Terrible personal, they charge you for absurd stuff tons of €, the food was old and oily, beds are stinking like hell. Never going back !!!! Fix your problems and stop blaming foreigners for your own faults. Also learn to speak English

The management of Melrose Apartments has immediately after the discovery of the restaurant’s misconduct expressed serious concern with this unprofessional approach towards the client. The executive manager of Melrose Apartments has promptly apologized for this regrettable incident - despite the fact that the restaurant is, in fact, a separate business entity with its own owner and a separate cash registry. We are, however, deeply sorry for this occurrence, even though this unfortunate event was not caused by the employee of Melrose Apartments.

Not as Expected

We were very disappointed with our stay. Though the staff was nice and the main entrance was well kept, our room was nothing like the pictures shown. It was severely outdated. The refrigerator was like one from college with stickers all over it; the rest of the appliances were also very outdated. The bathroom had a strange smell to it. The bathroom door looked as though someone had tried to punch it and it broke. There were cracks all over the walls and ceiling. The rooms were extremely dusty-I noticed this particularly when I went to plug in my phone charger next to the bed and saw the clumps of dust along the walls. I was disappointed that there weren’t any black out curtains or blinds in the bedroom-we have a toddler and getting her to sleep was a pain as it was so bright in the room. There was hair in the shower, stains on the wall above the bathroom sink, and the carpeting throughout the apartment was extremely old and disgusting. The kitchen supplies (pots/pans/plates/etc) were very old, rusty, dirty looking. The cup in the bathroom designated for rinsing after brushing your teeth was dusty. The curtains in the bedroom had stains on them. I was excited to get into the pool as it looked refreshing after such a hot day, but when I took my daughter to go swimming the water was ICE COLD. I’ve never been in a pool that cold before. We couldn’t stay in it longer than a minute or two. I saw 3 people swim after us and they, too, only lasted a couple minutes. It definitely wasn’t a relaxing pool experience. The pool chairs were also covered in dirt/rust. Overall we were very disappointed and glad we were only spending one night here.
