Thanks to Grand Hotel Bachledka Strachan

We are tourists that stayed in Poprad, but decided to experience treetopwalking in Bachledova Dolina. We went there by Bolt taxi and had an amazing experience getting so much pleasure from this kind of entertainment. However, on the way back, Bolt notified us that it was not possible to pick us up at the place where we had been left. There was no sidewalk, and we didn't speak Slovakian, so we could not ask anyone to help us (to pick us up and leave in the nearest place where we could take taxi). Luckily, we managed to find a Grand Hotel Bachledka Strachan where we asked for help. The director (or maybe she was someone else, but it was a very nice and careful blond woman) immediately called a hotel taxi for us and solved our problem, despite we were not hotel guests. We got a good impression on this and didn't expect that we would not be taken seriously.
Soon, we are going to leave Slovakia, but we will remember about the provided service and also the beatiful nature and nice location next to the mountains. Next time when we come here, we will definitely stay at Grand Hotel Bachledka Strachan.

Great stay in Slovak Tatra

We just spent a few days at this beautiful hotel, and it truly has everything you need to enjoy a wonderful stay in the Slovak Tatras. The rooms are excellent—we stayed in the Olympic-themed room, which offered a breathtaking view of the Tatra Mountains.
The wellness area is very stylish, featuring five different saunas and a swimming pool. The food was also outstanding, with a wide selection for both breakfast and dinner. A special mention goes to the talented chef who made delicious omelets to order.
One of the highlights for us was that the hotel is dog-friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
But above all, what we appreciated most was the service. Everyone we encountered was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and genuinely focused on making guests feel welcome. We especially want to thank Josef, who made us feel like the most important guests in the world

Fantastic stay

Cool! It was great for 3 nights
- They offer free Skipasses, but the slopes near the hotels do not belong to them, so you cannot get to the slopes with the Skipass. If you would like to ski on their slope, the SkiBus goes all the way to Ždiar on the slope that belongs to them.
- More than 60% of the staff in the restaurant are from abroad (from Poland) and do not understand.
- No attraction (Like bowling, Billiards, etc.)
- Higher price
+ Excellent kitchen
+ Nice staff
+ Super wellness

Peace and comfort

Beautiful environment and perfect service. Big praise. The whole family felt comfortable. Everyone found their own. Great and rich food. They fulfilled everything we needed. We wish you all the best and keep up the high standard.

Excelent.

We had a wonderful 4-day stay. Clean, comfortable accommodation with full service. High-quality food with a large selection of dishes. Excellent massage experience. Smiling friendly staff. We will park right next to the hotel. An interesting offer of short stories and programs in nature.
