Ibiza old town
Location was superb, we had a corner apart with 2 balconies. Got morning sun and afternoon sun. Walking distance to shops, port, citadel, restaurants. Air conditioning, microwave, cook top. Utensils for cooking and kettle. Safe in the room for valuables.

Better than expected
After reading some of the bad reviews on here , I wasn't sure what to expect! On arrival the staff were very friendly and showed us to our apartment which were just across the road from their restuarant. We had booked a studio but this was a 1 bedroom apartment. Everything was very clean. The bathroom was a little dated and tired but also very clean. Maids came every day. What i liked was the fact that they couldn't just let themselves in to clean if your key was in the door so they had to knock on the door. The location was fantastic!! It was a 2 minute walk to dalt villa . Fantastic little roof terrace with a fridge to keep your drinks cold. Would stay there again!

It. Was. Awful.
Toilet in the lounge to start with. Extremely impersonal from that perspective. Housekeeping came 2 out of the 7 days. The place was a mess as a result not having clean towels for days. One glass, not enough cutlery. I mean the list does go on. It is relaying on its location MASSIVELY and unfortunately that is not enough to sustain the mess that this place is.

Rude owner, dazed cleaner, noisy at all times and small worn down appartment
DO NOT STAY THERE! where can I start? upon arriving, the room was not ready even though we arrived at 1800. the room is too small, and not fully equipped for self catering guests. Not too many utensils, dirty glasses and a see through toilet door made out of frosted glass.
The cleaner is stoned out of her mind 24 hours a day as there is no other way to explain all the stuff she forgets to do. Forgets to bring new towels, forget to change sheets, forget to overall clean the apartment. The blonde middle age lady in the bar doesn't care at all either and is overall rude.
The small refrigerator is a disgrace. ITs freezer doesnt work plus it stinks when opening it
On the plus side, the location is great.

Apartamentos Mariano
I spent 7 nights at the Mariano apartments with my partner. Situated on the first floor above cafe Mariano it is a great location for access to old Ibiza town, bars and the marina. Unfortunately our apartment did not meet our expectations. It was very small and basic and was not clean. Very dusty and the shower tray did not drain so when you had a shower it overflowed into the apartment. It was reported and unblocked after 2 days. There was a very small balcony which you could stand on. This was covered in cigarette butts. There was not enough cuttlery for two people and seeing this was self catering the owner must expect tourists to eat with their hands. There is no welcome pack so we did not understand the cleaning routine. We had to ask for clean towels and one night we had no sheets as they had not been replaced. The owner did not seem interested. There was a really nice roof terrace with a great view over the city but again this area was often not clean with filled ashtrays and abandoned wine glasses. I would certainly nor recommend staying here. It was very expensive and not value for money because of the poor room service. The cafe itself is very pleasant and worth eating and drinking at. Just do not stay there. Much cheaper accomodation options nearby.
