I don't recommend it to anyone.

I never return to this hostel I never was so afraid in my life of what was there the third day I went and went for 6 nights dirty sheets.there were no windows to be able to open showers full of spits the bad that as much as you complain everything will continue the same

Avoid at All Costs – Total Scam! MYD Madriz Hostel & Hostel MYD La Latina

This place is an absolute nightmare and should be shut down immediately. When I arrived, there was nobody at the property, the door was locked, and no one answered the phone or messages. I was left outside at night with my luggage and had to find another hotel nearby just to have a roof over my head.
When I came back the next day, they refused to check me in, claiming I was a “no-show” even though it was their own fault for not being available! After a long and unpleasant argument, they finally allowed me to check in, but the room was disgusting and completely different from what was shown online. The place was messy, poorly maintained, and absolutely not worth the money.
The staff were rude, unhelpful, and dishonest. They kept making excuses and didn’t care at all about the inconvenience and extra costs I had to pay because of their negligence.
I lost two full days in Madrid dealing with this disaster. This hostel is a scam, completely unprofessional, and should be avoided at all costs.

Of terror.Unsafe.Bathroom and dirty bed. Weird people. Fungus in the shower. Hair on the bed. Ugly smell in room and bathroom.

Of terror. DON’T COME, I didn’t listen to the other reviews and ended up getting another one. The only good thing was the location which is central. I'm gonna tell you about my experience. I arrived at the hostel ringing the bell and had to wait about 15 minutes until they attend me. I check in all normal. They show me the room and while he was showing it to me, I check that there are no outsiders to the room. That was my first suspicion of something weird. The bathroom shower all full of mushrooms, the bathroom in general all dirty. The bed had no sheets only the mattress cover which was dirty, there were hairs and dirt from someone else. There were no sheets just a padding that was just as dirty. All the walls of the hostel stained, very neglected. The bathroom unpleasant and smelling damp. Toilet lid all pissed. The bathroom and bedroom floor have not been a rag for months.People inside super weird, I crossed 5 people and no one looked at me or greeted me. There are bums outside. You hear absolutely everything. The lockers are small so you don't get the carry on and you run the risk of it disappearing at any time obviously without anyone taking responsibility. I had one more night booked and decided to check out and go somewhere else. Don't go. I don't recommend it. They change names followed by bad reviews. Neighbors saying the police are followed by the number of robberies. Nobody's ever at the front desk. You have to send a WhatsApp and wait half an hour for them to appear.

There is no MYD La Latina 2. There is no second hostel. It is a strategy to create another profile and hide the negative reviews of MYD La Latina. They are scammers who kept my money and left me behind, with the collaboration of eDreams, which is part of the scam.

Scammers in collaboration with eDreams

This hostel advertises on eDreams indicating that the reception closes at midnight, however, when it fills up they sell the reserved bed to another and make up the excuse that you have to check-in before 22:00, something surely made up that they do not mention anywhere on the website.
Between this hostel and eDreams I was scammed, keeping the money for a stay for 7 nights for showing up at 10.30pm and leaving me lying around with no solution, a day that all hostels in Madrid were complete.
