The property was at a great location and close to many restaurants. It’s a little boutique hotel and the staff was excellent. The air conditioning system could be better. It was very hot in our room and they tried to accommodate us by providing a fan, which helped cool the room while we slept.

Definition of hotel, they need to remove it, not even the definition of hostel would be appropriate, maybe shack would be.
1. Nonexistent cleanliness, dirty rooms, don’t even get me started on the bathroom
2. rude, arrogant, and presumptuous staff.
3. Thanks to Maria, the only kind person, the stay in this dump was a bit better.
4. The stench of sewage in the rooms and hallways. As soon as you cross the reception door, the smell hits you.

Bathroom lacking every standard, no ventilation since there is no window, soap identical to dish soap, cramped, the door requires maneuvering, corroded, swollen from humidity, the black grout says a lot about cleanliness, black silicone full of mold, in need of immediate maintenance, an inspection would likely shut it down.
6. The noise from the street, as other reviews say, is the lesser evil; in fact, the nightlife is a wonderful thing if you come to Madrid.
7. This place should be banned from Booking reservations. Booking absolutely must do something because people cannot pay all this money and receive such treatment, especially such disastrous hospitality.

Great location staff really helpful breakfast must be better
Location really good. Atmosphere where it is there’s a lot of restaurants bars and discos. Rooms are a bit small but it’s ok. But it’s a bit expensive as the breakfast should be with more variety not always the same. Great staff and very helpful .

Ok, but nightclubs outside very noisy
This hotel’s greatest strength is also its greatest weakness. The location is fantastically central. Right in the middle of everything. BUT, with bars and nightclubs right outside, it’s incredibly noisy all night, right up until about 6am! All rooms face the road. We were on the second floor and had no sleep at all. Moved to one of just two rooms on the top (6th) floor for our last night which was much quieter. If you are a light sleeper, thus place it not fit you. Breakfast was basic but fine. Rooms were very basic, but clean. So it did the job, if you can stand the noise from outside… all night.

The staff is excellent. They do the best they can with limited resources. The room looked ver cheap. No good heating (during winter???). No hot water several days due to boiler problems.. seriously? During the winter? The breakfast was great.
