Spectacular The Level.
My experience at Meliá Madrid Serrano has been, as it could not be otherwise with Meliá, spectacular. We experienced The Level stay, which made us feel better than at home, thanks to the facilities, products, and above all, the attention of professionals as attentive as the reception team and Andreina, who took care of us with great affection at The Level. We will return

Great Concierge and Pool Lady!
Hotel is situated in lovely area with lots of great bars, restaurants and shops. We were greeted warmly on arrival by the concierge, the check in guy could have been more welcoming. I did talk to the customer service manager D and she did take this on board and assured us she would try to ensure better service next time we visit. The ‘standard’ rooms do not have proper windows which make the room feel quite claustrophobic, so I would suggest that you ask for an external facing room. Rooftop pool is great as is the pool lady. Breakfast was good.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at the Meliá Madrid.
I booked a Family Room with a “patio view,” which clearly suggests that the room overlooks a patio. In reality, the room has a narrow frosted window with absolutely no view of the outside. This is misleading advertising and does not reflect what is being offered.
What makes this experience even more frustrating is that I am a loyal Meliá customer. I have just spent six wonderful days at another Meliá hotel in Spain and expected the same level of service and consideration here. When I raised the issue with the front desk, I was simply told that they had nothing better to offer.
I understand that a hotel can be fully booked. What I cannot accept is a room being advertised as having a “patio view” when there is no view at all, and a loyal customer being treated with such indifference.
I cannot recommend this hotel until the description of this room category accurately reflects reality.

When you shared your disappointment with our team, we did our best to find an alternative despite the availability at the time and offered you an upgrade to a Premium The Level room. However, as this alternative was also interior-facing and its configuration was less convenient for your family, you ultimately preferred to remain in the original Family Room.
We regret if our response at the time came across as indifferent, as this was certainly not our intention. Your comments regarding how the room category is presented are valuable and will be taken into consideration.

A delight to cool off with the horrible heat that was in Madrid.
A delight the hotel, small pool but great for cooling off, enough lounge chairs. Delicious breakfast, clean rooms, good location

Bad service!!!
When you enter, the lobby looks very nice, modern, pleasant.
When you go up to the rooms, it is old, poorly maintained, with a bad smell.
The worst part is the service, in general a very unfriendly service, in the lobby several waiters act as if they do not see anyone to avoid serving, they have an arrogant attitude and know nothing about the products they sell.
The only good things are the lobby and the location, but the experience is not pleasant.
