They don’t have refrigerator. No complimentary water no tea coffee and hot tea pot.

The front desk staff could be more welcoming and attentive. Additionally, the lobby water station is frequently empty, and it takes a long time for staff to refill it.

Clean, friendly and modern hotel

We stayed at Rafael for 3 nights during July as we were attending Mad Cool music festival.
It's very close to Atocha train station - we caught the 203 bus from the airport for €5 each which dropped us off at the station and it's a 10 minute easy walk to the hotel.
We had a room facing the front of the hotel which was very clean and modern with a good bathroom. We didn't experience noise from outside but other guests did bang doors (the doors are quite heavy).
We had 2 small complimentary bottles of water. The hotel do not provide kettles or tea/coffee facilities.
The air conditioning was excellent. We didn't eat here. There are quite a few small bars/tapas and supermarkets close by. The metro is also a short walk away.
We had a good stay here and wouldn't hesitate to return if coming to Madrid again.

Lovely hotel, walking distance to the station. We arrived early to see if we could drop our luggage off and our room was ready which was so helpful. Would have been good to have coffee making facilities but other than that i wouldn't fault it.
Would definitely stay here again.
