Perfect stay in Manhattan

This hotel is perfectly located between Chelsea market and soho, and right next to the subway.
It is well designed and decorated, and everything in the room was comfortable and practical.
Special mention to Kiye who was adorable and gave us good restaurant addresses. Thanks again!

This was our second stay at Dream. The location is fantastic. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, and it’s a nice stroll to the meatpacking district and the west village. There is a pool on the roof, if you feel like doing that. Rooms are clean and updated. Price is reasonable. We’ll be back again!

I spoke to several staff before our stay and the pricing and understanding of the pool club was a total mess. I was given so many different answers and was so unclear about the wrist bands, lounge chairs, where we would lay if we got towels, etc. Very frustrating to get a straight answer

It wants to be hip and luxurious but is neither.

This place seems to want to be pop luxury, but it's not modern or luxury. It's got odd nonsensical design elements, and overall the stay was inconvenient. You have to register before you go to the pool. When you call the front desk you get an AI voice that responds. The bedroom is tiny, and there is a chain mail shower curtain.

Nightclub not a hotel

Writing this at 12am with the nightclub on the rooftop 4 floors away and still unable to sleep due to the noice of it even with earplugs and the white noise machine. Heard there is one in the basement too so lower floors get it also. They literally have security checking IDs in the lobby and metal detectors for the club at the elevators and if you accidentally end up in the wrong line they’ll yell at you… sir I’m just trying to go to BED. The staff really don’t seem to care, avoid at all costs unless you’re planning to be out until 4am every night. Someone in the lobby called it the nightmare hotel and honestly… fair .
Why can’t the club be a nice quiet rooftop cocktail lounge or something .
