20/10 I would absolutely stay here again!
From the moment we arrived, the service at Mimosa Hotel was exceptional. The front desk staff welcomed us with such kindness and made us feel at home right away.
Our stay started on a Monday, and we arrived several hours before check-in. We left our luggage and went to explore Chinatown. To our surprise, they texted us later to let us know our room was ready early. I really appreciated that because we were exhausted after our flight.
The next morning, my daughter went to get some water, and shortly after, the staff surprised us by bringing fresh watermelon to our room. It was such a thoughtful gesture! Throughout our stay, everyone was attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making us comfortable.
We stayed in a room with two twin beds, and it was very comfortable. The bathroom was well stocked with thoughtful amenities like toothbrushes, razors, and other essentials. And I have to mention the hair dryer—it worked better than the one I have at home!
The room doesn’t have a mini fridge, but the hotel has a shared area with a refrigerator, microwave, and other conveniences, which worked perfectly for us. The TV had hundreds of channels, and although the air conditioner doesn’t have a thermostat control, the room stayed at a very comfortable temperature the entire time.
The hotel has quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM, which I actually appreciated because it helped everyone enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. There is an elevated train line in front of the hotel, but honestly, the noise was minimal and never bothered us.
Subway stations are about a 7–15 minute walk away, depending on where you’re headed, making it easy to get around the city. If you don’t feel like going out one evening, you can order food delivery, and the staff will gladly receive it for you at the lobby.
Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The outstanding customer service made all the difference, and I would happily stay here again.

Consistently good
Always clean and reliable hotel amidst NYC's Chinatown, and some of the most inexpensive and greatest food in the world.

Great experience twice in 6 weeks!
I stayed here twice recently. Once in May and once in June. My friend and I had a great time both times. The rooms are super clean, bathrooms are great, staff is friendly, they let us drop our bags and use the restroom and enjoy some air conditioning well before our rooms were ready. Both times our room was ready earlier than expected. Location of the hotel is perfect. Everywhere we wanted to go was within walking distance. Also the cost is lower than a lot of hotels in New York. Perfect place for what we needed! Thank you Hotel Mimosa!

We had a great stay here, everyone was very kind and helpful and the property was clean and comfortable, as well as in a convenient location-just a few blocks to a subway station. We especially appreciated getting to store our luggage at the hotel after we checked out since we had a couple of hours to kill before we left town. Would stay here again for sure!

Staying at Mimosa
Nice and clean hotel. Rooms are not big but so the price.Very good shower with strong water stream. Especially and big thank to William in the front desk that help us to chqnge dates without any charge.
