Major Safety Hazard: Broken Exterior Doors, Freezing Room, and Deceptive Refund Gimmicks

We booked a premium room specifically for the French doors feature, but it turned out to be an absolute nightmare and a major security risk. The exterior French doors and windows were structurally broken and completely unable to close or lock. This left us entirely exposed to extreme street noise and freezing temperatures all night, making sleep impossible. Leaving our belongings in a room facing the street on only the second floor that physically could not lock felt unsafe.
The room’s basic layout, cleanliness, and amenities were equally unacceptable. The shower drain was clogged upon arrival, causing dirty wastewater to back up into the tub during use. The bathroom ventilation fan didn’t work at all, and the interior bathroom door was defective and wouldn’t even stay latched shut, completely eliminating basic privacy.
Service was completely non-existent. When we pointed out these severe defects, we asked to be moved to an alternative room that we knew was vacant, but management flatly refused to reassign us. The front desk then verbally promised us a refund on-site so we could leave and find a functional hotel, but they completely reneged. Instead, they ran a deceptive "blame loop" with the booking platform, wiped our app chat history to hide the paper trail, and are now hiding behind an unwanted $90 store voucher to avoid returning our actual cash. The property is unsafe, poorly maintained, and uses deceptive administrative tactics to pocket your money. Avoid this place at all costs.

Nice clean room. Easy check in. AC resetting itself to 85 F frequently (temporary override) though out my stay. Mgmt was responsive but did not resolve. Not a hotel so no option of changing rooms. Otherwise 4 stars.

No worthy

The apartment needs a complete renovation.The windows are old and don't block out the street noise, making it impossible to sleep. They also don't insulate, so both the cold and the heat come right through. Old windows that need to be replaced.The sofa is filthy; it’s supposed to be beige, but it’s gray with grime and smells terrible.The shower drain stinks, and there were cockroaches.This place has the potential to be a premium apartment, but it’s just run-down and neglected.The walls are dirty; they haven't seen a fresh coat of paint in a long time.It is definitely not worth the money
