Wonderful Chisholm Hunter Edinburgh

The apartment is beautifully presented, spacious and has every convenience needed for a short or extended stay. It was spotless and the attention to detail perfect. The location is ideal with a view of the castle and everything needed within walking distance. Restaurants, cafes, shopping centres and a great pub, Element around the corner. There are amazing areas to experience within 20minutes walk, car not needed unless travelling out of town. Secure Parking is within a 10 minute walk. Can't fault it. Highly recommended.

Beautiful apartment right near the castle .

Excellent position facing Edinburgh castle .
Super spacious modern and clean . Perfect stay for convenient transport and walking .
Would highly recommend.
Very quiet also as it has thick soundproofing doors to all rooms . Gorgeous decor and easy access. Does have flights of stairs to access but worth it .

Lovely comfy apartment, close to centre of city, and all transport links. Birw of castle from lounge window, although not too noisy.
Bedroom was quieter as at back of property but an air conditioner unit in building opposite did hum all the time.
Up two flights of twisty stairs do not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, also all interior doors are heavy fire doors

A costly letdown

The location was outstanding and having a separate seating area was also great. But for what we paid I would expect more than what we got. The dishwasher was too moldy to use, the dryer did not dry clothes (no heat), we only got two towels, the water boiling pot was half filled with old water upon our arrival, and the microwave oven was not operational. Finally, the lack of a lift makes checking in and out very difficult, especially as I age.
Aside from the fabulous location/ view, we were sadly disappointed and uncomfortable. I would not recommend the room.

Regarding the appliances, we would have been very happy to assist had you contacted us during your stay. If we had known that the dishwasher, dryer, or other appliances were not working as expected, our team could have looked into this and helped resolve the issues.
We also appreciate your comments regarding the number of towels and the lack of a lift, and understand how the stairs can make arrival and departure more challenging.
