100% returning

We booked to stay at Fingal after the Edinburgh Marathon and we loved it. The service is incredible with everyone working very hard to make your stay special. Room was lovely and the outdoor decking would be a great place to have drinks in the sun.
The breakfast was perfection 10/10, portion size and quality of the food spot on.
Nice backstory to the hotel and some complimentary tickets for museum and sweets on check out.
Short visit but we’ll definitely be returning.

Fingal was meticulously restored over a 5-year period using only the finest materials sourced locally and from around the world. Onboard you will find lots of nods to Fingal's past as a Lighthouse tender from the roped bannisters to the elevator resembling a lighthouse lens.

Romantic experience

a luxurious place to stay at during anniversaries the view is truly spectacular and stuff was very nice. We will truly come back next time

Perfect couples retreat

Beautiful location with views of the harbor. Quiet and well cared for, we always felt taken care of by all the staff. Rooms have all the amenities we wanted, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect. The food is superb. The front of boat where we sat and played cribbage while enjoying the view was my favorite part of our trip! Staff always had great recommendations for restaurants, attractions, transportation, etc. The tour of the Brittania is a must!

The staff was Royalty worthy! The room was most comfortable: dark, perfect temperature, quiet, w a luxurious bed. The breakfast was amazing. So much to choose from. Think fresh squeezed juices and caviar!! The Japanese pancake was a treat!
The tram carries you straight to all the sights Enjoyed our stay!

Great for that special occasion

Visited to celebrate our 54th anniversary and the hotel still maintains its uniqueness and high standards. Food options for breakfast were excellent- so much choice for everyone’s tastes.
The room was very comfortable and the bedding of a high quality. A great nights sleep. This was our 3rd visit to Fingal and we will certainly be back.
