Quite hotel…

The hotel we found to be clean, safe and the staff friendly. The hotel is an easy walk from the air link express bus drop off. It is off the beaten trail but with a little walking we had no problem getting to a train or bus to help us navigate further out from Edinburgh. When we arrived we were placed in a room with connecting doors which we did not feel comfortable with. The staff was quick to switch us to a different room. The room was clean. Breakfast was free with a wide variety of items to chose from. Staff was quick to clean the breakfast tables as soon as someone left. The only thing I did not like and this could have been how hotels typically operate in Europe but there was no hot tea, hot chocolate or coffee free at night in the lobby (there was a Starbucks) so a little different from how the Hampton Inn is run in the states. The hotel did have a large breakfast area where at night many guests gathered and played game (the hotel has a good selection), talked,etc. I would return.

Hotel was fine. Not luxury but that was expected. Room was a little small for a family room and with the sofa bed out it was hard to move around. Breakfast only had an instant coffee option if you wanted d-cafe what was not good. Would have been nice to also have poached or fried eggs available.

Well maintained hotel ideally located for exploring Edinburgh. One major gripe regarding parking. Specifically booked hotel as parking is advertised as available but the information on how to actually find the car park is woeful caused very stressful hour trying to park.

Ok...

This is a very busy hotel popular with bus tours. The staff were all lovely and it was spotlessly clean. I booked a twin bed room as the beds in the doubles are small queens and not kings and the room was small with no armchair which I don't like! However the aircon was superb and wifi was fast and we could HDMI the laptop into the TV which was good. I probably wouldn't stay here again but you cannot fault the team who are all so helpful and courteous.
