Very nice and centrally located hotel
My husband and I stayed here in April 2026. The hotel is centrally located to most everything popular in Edinburgh. We did all the touristy things, but also went into Tesco and other businesses close by. The staff couldn't have been nicer and more welcoming. From the bar to the resturant to the check in/out everyone was kind and professional. The room was spacious and clean and well stocked with a fridge and had a tea kettle with various teas, biscuits and instant coffee. The bathroom was a nice size and very clean. The bed was very comfy and we slept great. We would recommend this and stay here again.

Property was very nice. The breakfast was worth the price. Room was smaller than expected but clean and tidy.

Clean room, seemed dated.
Water pressure wasn’t great and the water wasn’t that hot. I was only there for one night for a conference and the bed was clean which is the main thing. Well located and reasonably priced. For other leonardos I’ve stayed in this was the most run down.

Great stay, would love to come back
After a bad Airbnb experience we booked a couple nights at around 6am. We called to see if we could store our luggage which we could.
All the amenities were great, air conditioned room was a huge relief during the heatwave. Room was spotless. Great sized TV. Location was maybe a 10/15 minute walk to Princes Street.
Very little noise, only thing we'd hear would be something loud like sirens, no general traffic noise at all. We luckily got put in the room at the far end, so only had neighbour on one side who we didn't hear at all.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

More of a travelodge than a 4 star hotel.
Bath had brown stains in it, looks like a blind man did the sealant in the bathroom. Paint incredibly chipped on bathroom door.
Empty soap bottles on arrival. They didn’t bother replacing the 2 coffee pods we used on our first morning despite being there 3 nights.
Alerted staff to an elderly and unwell man collapsed at the lobby lifts and they dismissed us with ‘yes we know, we’re sorting it’ but left him on the floor bleeding on his own while they stood around reception.
