A gem - the perfect location for beach and easy access to the city

I want to keep it secret…. But feel I must review as my son and I had such a great stay. The room was clean, modest but in a fabulous location and the pool was truly spectacular (and quiet!)
We slept like a log, has the most wonderful time visiting Lapad and it’s beautiful beaches and restaurants and also took a short bus ride to the old town.
It’s a hidden gem in a great location. I have a feeling we will be back for another peaceful and relaxing stay. Thank you.

Great stay

Orka apartments it’s great option if you wanna stay out of busy old town but still in the place where there is lot of options for food and views. Location is fantastic just outside the marina and lots of food options which are affordable and really tasty. Only one problem we had that shower was going cold after it was running for a few minutes so it felt like you were running out time. Pool facility was great as well really clean just fantastic!

Beyond Basic.

We were expecting a lovely apartment...what a letdown. There is basic, but this was not what we expected.
The only savings grace was....it was clean.
No reception or lift to facilitate anyone with mobility issues.
Shutters were broken.
Curtains fell down.
We had to check out at 10 am. The cleaning person stood at the door to make sure we left at the exact time.
We were informed by booking.com breakfast was included...not so.
The restaurant was not opened for lunch or dinner.
No bathroom facility at the pool area or luggage rooms.
Lovely area but would I recommend Orka....no way.

Very good plan

These are very nice apartments furnished and equipped in on the peninsula of lapad. The pool is a real plus. The neighborhood is quiet at night. Bus to the center at 300m , pedestrian and seaside street at 250. It is a perfect Price quality ratio that allows moments of relaxation and can reach the old town or the beaches very easily.

Apartment with good location

Just returned from a fantastic route trip through Croatia.
Last stop place Dubrovik.
Arriving at Orca apartments, a friendly lady the host was already waiting for us.
Got right a plan with which she gave the explanation where we were, where the supermarkets 10 min-where the restaurants were etc.
How to get to the old town.
There is a bus stop 6 a few meters from Orca but the lady recommended us to continue one stop (right in front of the playground) there you could take bus 6 and also bus 9, which we have done) drive to old town 10 min.
We had a room on the second floor.Wel what stairs to do.Our first impression, wow what a view through the window, on the marina.
The apartments is old and basic.
To kitchen utensils not too much at proposals,fire 2 plates,coffee brew available.Good working refrigerator.
Air conditioning present and working well.
The big plus to this accommodation is the swimming pool with the beautiful finishes and sturdy sunbeds, blissful to relax after a few hours in the old town.
The big flaw is the paying parking.
Scandalously expensive, but that's everywhere in Dubrovik! There not only by the way we have also experienced in the cities Split Sibinek.
For the rest Croatia a fantastic country of nature and culture.
If you are not worried about staying in a somewhat outdated but hygienic apartment with good dropout basis, I can definitely recommend Orca.
