A pleasant stay with a lovely outdoor surprise

We stayed here as a family of four with our dog and had a really enjoyable time. The reception area is welcoming right from check-in, and we especially liked the bar/restaurant/breakfast space — it's nicely decorated and not too large, which gives it a personal and stylish atmosphere rather than feeling like a big impersonal hotel restaurant.
One of the real highlights was being able to take your coffee cup from breakfast out to a brand new outdoor area. It's beautifully done, with tables and chairs, lounge seating, and a pergola, all framed by a large lawn and lovely trees. It's wonderfully quiet and sheltered from traffic and noise — a great spot to relax.
Our room was nice and a good size, though the bathroom in the family room was a bit on the small side. Breakfast was good overall, though we did miss a couple of small items like scrambled eggs — that said, it was peak holiday season, so we understand the staffing and offerings may differ from a typical week.
All in all, we had a great time and would happily come back.

Inept management, worst Radisson experience ever

Arrived late afternoon and was placed on a top floor room. Very hot on arrival but put the Aircon on max and took off for dinner outside. When we came back at 11 the room was still uncomfortably hot. Night manager advised the availability of electric fan and to turn the Aircon to Max. However, the hotel turns off the Aircon at night to save money so at 01.30 when the temperature had risen to 26 degrees C, we were offered to change to another room (with same temperature management issue I should add...). Management of this hotel is just terrible. All about their internal KPI's with no latitude or training of staff to do the only thing that would have worked at this point; Training on how to override the Aircon settings...and authorisation to do so when necessary. I ended up spending the night on a chair in the lobby and seriously considered sleeping in my car... Until the hotel service manager came over at 07.15, not even a glass of water was provided ...After 21 nights at various different Radisson Hotels in the last 2 years I am now bidding farewell to a chain that has generally served me well. However, this hotel, with its nice park location, does not have the management it deserves...

Our team members tried to do their outmost during your stay to improve your wellbeing, one of the tried solutions was to offer room change.
We also are happy to share that you had your whole stay covered by the hotel and we also secured that you enjoyed the rest of your stay in a spacious Junior Suite.
Oslo is currently experience high temperatures 28-31 degrees Celcius and it is not the normal temperatures we have in summer times. The hotel and Housekeeping department has good routines to handle summerdays and we have several actions in place to secure our hotel rooms are keeping the brand standard temperatures.

We stayed there for 4 days and on our 3rd day forgot to hang up the no cleaning sign on our door. Cane back and my shopping bags were gone. Thankfully i had emptied some of them but lost a couple of bucks there. Mabye check before you throw. Also the AC does not go any lower than 19°C which is a horrible temperature to sleep in, not only that but the AC turns off if you open the window so dont do the same mistake we did and keep the window open when you leave in the morning. You will regret it when you come back to cool down.

Two nights business trip

The hotel is nicely, quietly nestled in greenery. Lovely bed in Premium rooms and good surfaces. Clean and tidy. Shower and bathroom new and fresh and very good breakfast. Will return.
