Lovely hotel, breakfast and location.

Perfect stay for our honeymoon. Location is prime. People where amazing. Breakfast is just incredible.
If you.have the budget and don't care much for big spacious rooms, then this is the place to go.

Not for me

Stylish central hotel, but rooms very dark, no shelves or drawers for clothes (just a few hangers and hooks), luggage room not fully managed and charging extra to use gym/pool/sauna. More greenwash than usual - apparently reduced room cleaning was to save the planet rather than to reduce staffing/boost profit.

Can't get my white t-shirt back

Can't get my white t-shirt back that was left inside the room. I emailed as guided but never get a reply...went to their front desk, they said they can't help because of different departments...
So you guys, hope you guys won't have such a terrible experience with them..

Disappointing Stay Despite a Great Location

We are staying at Downtown Camper for three nights and booked a spacious double room. Upon check-in, we were given room 447.
The room is clean and a decent size, but it is certainly not spacious. The location of the hotel is very good, but unfortunately, that is about all we can say positively about our stay so far.
The biggest disappointment is the room itself. Our window overlooks a narrow light well, with the walls of other buildings directly outside. As a result, there is virtually no natural light in the room, and we have to keep the curtains closed for privacy.
The lighting system in the room is also unnecessarily complicated. The switches are touch-sensitive and require you to touch them in exactly the right spot and hold your finger down for a specific amount of time. It is not intuitive at all, and it can take several attempts to get the lights to work properly.
The weather in Stockholm has been pleasant during our stay, but opening the window at night is not an option because the outside noise is unbearable. The mattress is very thin and keeps sliding on the bed frame, which makes it uncomfortable.
The breakfast area is another disappointment. It is chaotic and extremely crowded, with guests having to share tables and sit very close to one another. It does not feel relaxing or enjoyable.
Our friends are staying across the street at Hotel At Six and are having a very positive experience, while paying approximately the same price.
Unfortunately, based on our experience so far, we cannot recommend Downtown Camper and would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

This hotel made we want to stay in the area even longer. I can't recommend it enough! It was super clean, tastefully decorated and centrally located. The room was spacious and comfortable with plenty of hot water. There were tons of activities to do and we always got a sense of calm yet fun when walking in the doors. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
