Lovely place in the heart of Edinburgh

A great place to stay in a smart part of Edinburgh. The Victorian swimming baths next door are wonderful. Very comfortable rooms and a welcoming host. Looking forward to staying again soon, this time with the family.

Excellent B+B

We recently stayed using a 2 for 1 offer voucher from the Guardian.B+B is a pleasant 15/20 minute walk from the station / Princess St and situated on a quiet street close to the suburb of Stockbridge which has several nice bars and restaurants if you dont fancy walking back into town. B+B was of a high standard with the room complimented by a large bath for perfect long soaks. Continental breakfast of croissant, toast and cereal was served each morning in the small dining area.

Made very welcome

We stayed here for 2 nights last week using a 2 for 1 nights voucher from The Guardian. The stay was pretty much perfect. We were very warmly welcomed by the whole family. The rooms are located in the basement flat, so it is completely self contained. We were the only guests, so had the whole place to ourselves. A big room tastefully decorated with antiques, a great bed and large ensuite. Some people may find the walk into town a bit much, as it is 15 mins up hill. But it didn't bother us. Free parking is also quite a long way away, but you don't really need the car. Breakfast was continental, but well supplied with fresh fruit, cereal, croissants and jams. I would be happy to recommend this to anyone.

Wonderful B&B

We stayed in the smaller of two double rooms which turned out to be incredibly spacious. We had a king size bed and large bathroom. The room was impeccably clean. Location was perfect. 15 min walk to princes street but plenty of restaurants closer. Breakfast was great (yogurt, cereal, toast, tea/ coffee.) Will definitely recommend to anyone we know visiting Edinburgh.

10 out of 10!

The family were extremely welcoming and the location was perfect - not much of a walk from the centre of town. We stayed in the double room: the bed was enormous and so comfy, and the bath was plenty big enough for two! It was luxurious. Breakfast was also first class with all of our needs catered for. We would definitely recommend this B&B to others. We had a fantastic stay, at a very reasonable price and would love to return.
